Here is a diferent look at what Trials Riding is all about. When a trials rider goes out for their run they look at the smaller things and pay attention to detail in a diferent way. Paying attention to the little things is what dowith photography. In the digital age it easier for some one to be a good photographer, so I look for that edge and find the things others might not see.
Why do I point this out, well because a Trials event is measuerd by less than an inch, only a few pounds of air and an incredable sence of ballance. There is alot of technique and skill involved and missing even the smallest thing can cost a Trials rider a point, often that can also be the diference between 1st & Second. One Such Rider this weekend at the MWTA-Trials Husker Cup just outside Murry Nebraska at the Rock Quarry rose to the challange was Jes Kempkes, a former national title contender showed everyone his smooth and effortless techincal strength by dominating the weekends event. But there were some shining stars thought the classes this October weekend in Nebraska and I was able to capture a few of the weekends moments on digital film.
I have included more than 170 photos from the MWTA Trials event on October 11th 2008 -
